I install Ccleaner 7 and it runs quickly and when I click on the icon the program does not start. I look in the directories and the CClenaer directory is empty, there are no installed components there. The old version 5.88 installs normally and works.
Where is the problem? The installation does not work. Windows 10 version 1703
it soinds like you’re trying to run the CCleaner 6 shortcut. Ccleaner 7 installs in program files\piriform\CCleaner instead of program files\CCleaner
CCleaner 5.88 is ancient, (an so is Win 10 1703).
I suggest that you at least get CCleaner v6.39.

PS. I would also suggest getting your Windows 10 up to date, version 22H2, while you still can.
