Taskbar customization erased by CCleaner?

I use taskbar customization in XP to control which icons appear on the right side of the Windows taskbar, next to the clock, like this:

1. Right click on the taskbar, choose "Properties."

2. Click on "Customize" button.

3. Change items to "always hide."

These changes don't seem to be "sticking," and I believe CCleaner might be erasing this history.

Which item in the CCleaner settings do I turn off? If any?

Try unticking the 'Tray notifications cache' box in the advanced section.
