About this talk
At the 2007 EG conference, Kevin Kelly shares a fun stat: The World Wide Web, as we know it, is only 5,000 days old. Now, Kelly asks, how can we predict what's coming in the next 5,000 days?
Without even looking at it: Malware
Porn, malware and spam.
As much as I like net neutrality, freedom of expression, etc. I would love to see some kind of regulation of the internet and a bit of accountability. Mostly for child pornography, fraud, and those that spread virus, malware, etc.....I could care less about people spouting opinions, etc. but for those that are hurting others directly and using the internet for these purposes, it would be nice to be able to force a little accountability, etc....I can't believe some of the sites that are hosted, etc.........
