Tails live cd

Posting this in the lounge. This one is a still work in progress, imho, too slow.

Home site: http://tails.boum.org/index.en.html says this:

Tails is a live CD or live USB that aims at preserving your privacy and anonymity.

Internet connections go through TOR, and you leave nothing on the computer you're using unless you ask it explicitly.

It uses Iceweasel Browser and has some good applications. Biggest problems I found were the dreadfully slooow internet connection, and I couldn't log on here when using the TOR button, but could it I turned it off. Both issues are maybe a result of all those TOR bounces?

I faintly recollect thread/s about Tor shortly after joining the forum, and I think the "slowness" issue was the main object of the discussions.

Has it gone to the great recycler in the sky yet?

:)

Certainly not! What kind of digital pack rat would I be if I deleted a 581 mb iso file just because it is not very good? :P

Just keep taking the tablets is all I can say, although there isn't too much hope for downloadaholicism (is that a word?).
