don't see an option to stop "start with windows".
I suspect that you are actually talking about the CCleaner icon appearing in the System Tray when CCleaner is running in the background.
There are two things that can run in the background and put that icon there:
- Options>Smart Cleaning. - if you have any part of Smart Cleaning active then there will be an icon in the system tray.
- Options>Updates>'Keep CCleaner updated automatically'. - This is a new setting in CCleaner v5.74 and if ticked it will also put an icon in the system tray.
If you turn both of those options off then CCleaner will not be running anything in the background and the icon will go away.
(If both options are on then you only see one icon not two).
