system restore

Can you please tell me if it is safe to remove all the system checkpoints that are showing in the sys restore toolbox/also software distribution service 3.0 (there are 2 of those on the list)

Safe yes,

Whether it is wise to do so is left to you. if you are sure you won't want to roll back to an earlier time then it is fine to remove them.

This is not really a reply but another question! When CCleaner is run does anybody know if all System Restore Points are lost? This seems to happen for me. If yes, is there a way to save them from disappearing?

If you use the useless Wipe Free Space thing, then yes all Restore Points will disappear. Else, this is a bug.

Also, Please don't hijack other people's threads, and be sure to search before asking questions (you'd have found your answer pretty quickly)

THANK YOU for your help your answer and your suggestion both were easy to come to a decision on what to do without adding confusion to my very limited comp.skills. scindy
