I downloaded the update today and the system starts analyse but stops at 45%. when you cancel it locks up and you have to ctrl/alt / delete , to shut down the program. Using windows 10. I have removed and reloaded , but still the same.
Any ideas.

what does is say it is cleaning at the 45% stage, next to the spinning "I'm thinking" wheel?

if you haven't run CC for a while, the temp files may have accumulated to a point where it could take many, many minutes for CC to get past.
when did you last run CC?
how long have you left it 'stuck at 45%' before cancelling?
