I have a user complaining that CCleaner is removing his settings for Synergy virtual KVM. Does anyone have experience with what to exclude to stop that?
There are millions of programs out there, it's impossible for us to tell you what is being removed. This Program is not specified by CCleaner's Detect and remove rules. So either the user is blindly running the registry integrity section (which they should not be doing) or you need to find where these settings are saved and add them to the exclude list in options.
well, I finally found that the settings are getting put into a the temp folder under application settings in the user directory. This is the very sort of folder I would want to clean. SMH, sloppy devs.

right but all you need to do is exclude the single file(s) in the temp folder, not the entire folder. . . and yes sloppy developing on KVM-software-side
