I noticed that Java updates leave a trail of old crap.
Periodically I uninstall and delete all. Than re-install.
An idea for CCleaner?

I think that's already been a suggested feature.
You could always download ZSoft Uninstaller (Freeware), or Total Uninstall 2.35 (Last Freeware Version) and start to track the installation of software, that way you can get rid of most or all of what's installed.
