I do not suppose many people look there but I did find an app to do this, it could be useful in CCleaner.

Do you mean the Tray Notification Cache ? It is already a feature of CCleaner, in the Advanced cleaning section.

However, you must then restart Windows Explorer.

To do so, open a command prompt (Start >> Run >> cmd), and type :

tskill explorer.exe

explorer.exe

I AM LOOKING to clean (Right click) Start>Properties>Taskbar>Customise>Past Items. I do not think the above does it.
