Were you away from the computer at the time?no the computer was doing nothing it was just on the desktop
was there any type of scanning going on that you would know of? As in a Spyware or Virus scan?
i was away and it was doing nothing
It was probably nothing. If it happens again then start to worry.
I agree, just some weird glitch.
last question: Do you have it set to where your system goes on standby or.. any of that nature? if so, I've known it to do this. I once tapped my mouse and my system was on standby. the screen was blue and saying something on memory crash. if this does happen again worry and come back as others saidi was away and it was doing nothing
Stop error's can be the cause of buggy hardware drivers, or buggy software.
If a program has some sort of conflict/problem in the memory it can also cause it, most programs that have a problem as such won't function correctly without a reboot -- however it's rare.
Edit:
Forget to mention if a program that's resident isn't fully compatible with your system as in the installed video drivers, etc., it can also cause annoying problems.
