I am puzzled by something.
I can have system restore turned off, & whether I use Defraggler 2.06 (or other versions) on Windows 7/Vista/XP, the result is the same usually...
If I defrag a drive, (especially noticeable on badly fragged drives), doing a full defrag does seem to defragment files, as well as do a partial consolidation.
Defraggler seems to leave huge chunks of free space between files, instead of a solid contiguous line.
This is on drives that are NOT partitioned, and drives that have 1 single partition.
I wish there were a fully contiguous option in Defraggler.
I can live with the way it is, I suppose, but just wondering why it won't do a "fully contiguous" defrag, even after multiple passes?
Drives are NOT SSD drives, or hybrid. Drives I am using are standard 7,200 RPM Sata drives.
