Sticky folders.

Hi.

Are you able to wipe sticky folders? Those annoying folders left after a software update failure.

Random named leftovers like that in the root directory = No

It would have to be coded to look for specific folder names, like how the community winapp2.ini file will clean out the C:\Config.msi folder. But if the folder names are random and not placed into a known system folder such as "C:\Windows\Temp" it's a losing battle.

If they are temporary installation folders left after an install/update failure then reinstalling/reupdating the app sucessfully should clear them.

Revo uninstaller's 'Forced Uninstall' feature may also have some success, (or may not - depends if they are in the Revo logs database), you'll need Revo Pro (or the Pro trial) to use 'Forced Uninstall'.

In older versions of Windows doing some Windows Updates would leave numbered/lettered folders behind like that, even if those updates installed successfully. I don't know if Win10 has that issue or not, although I've never seen it happen since using it.
