Got the text alert during class, no one seems to have posted it here yet.

I am not really a fan of Apple's products, but I can't deny the man was brilliant. RIP

Yeah, I just read the Drudge Report article about him. My first pooter was a PowerMac in 1995.

Just read this elsewhere. Very sad. :(

Sad loss to the computing world.

It was all over the TV news when I woke up, they were comparing him to Albert Einstein and other geniuses because of his creations that millions of people use world-wide.

Interesting, to see what others have to say about it. :)

Such heartfelt responses to his death. I hope Apple can keep up without his ideas, and that they don't just recycle iDevices from now on (though they could sell an iBrick at this point and people would totally buy it)

He was a giant. Don't know his beliefs, can not know about his passing, but I hope he finished up OK, its never too late.

Seems they were selling these in 2007 ...

More on Appleā€™s Latest Product, the iBrick:

Frivolity apart, it is sad for anyone to go in that manner, and he'll be an extremely hard act to follow.

As Bill Gates said, it is a great loss to the world of computing, and he is right, it's very sad, made sadder that he was only in his mid 50's ........he had plenty of time and contribution still to be made. 56 years of age I'm told, to young to die.

They tell me that he left a business plan for the 20 years or so.

Kind thoughts to his family.
