Startup: What does CCleaner _do_?

I've always wondered what CCleaner actually does when I set it to "run at startup." Just clear cookies?

Company writes:

"For example there's an option to run the cleaner at computer startup, so you can automatically keep your computer clean without having to worry about it."

But then when I run the issues scan, CCleaner still finds them. If it runs at startup, why should I have to manually fix "issues" and windows "crap?"

CCleaner only runs the cleaner section at startup, it does not run the issues cleaner at startup due to the danger of fixing registry problems automatically.
