Start Menu Problem

Well, for about a month or so, I've had this minor problem of my start menu not CORRECTLY displaying all of my "Recent Programs" in the Start Menu GUI. Well, just recently, it began to aggravate me...to the point of instant frustration upon boot up. I've Google(d) for many solutions, but honestly, didn't know how to state the problem... I was wondering if anyone would be so kind to help me with this problem and/or point me in a correct direction. Thank you.

I've gone through all of the most common steps, including "Display # Items on Start Menu" in the Properties Menu...so don't try to "dumb me down" by telling me to do something like that. I'm requesting either Registry Help or maybe a Program of some sort. I can guarantee if was caused after running CCleaner.

That space is caused by all the entries on the right of the menu, if that really bothers you that much then disable a button or two on the right side.

I recommend disabling 'Default Programs' and, if you don't use it, 'Help And Support'.

Actually, no, it "wasn't" the things on the right. It was my use of CCleaner on Windows Vista clearing the Recent Docs and Start Menu Shortcuts. I've re-imported the registry branch for the Start Menu by creating a test account (admin) and exporting it's Start Menu section in the Registry. All is well now...thanx to help from 0ofU from The Hobby Lounge. Doing what I did was very risky, and required some tweaking afterwards. Only things that needed tweaked were the settings that changed themselves back to Vista Default.
