I'm wondering if anyone else is having issues with SpywareBlaster failing to check for updates?

Uninstalling and re-installing doesn't fix it on my end so I'm thinking perhaps their update server is down.

I get:
No updates available.
There are no new updates available. You have the latest protection.
Same as kroozer.
Mine shows the database loaded as 11/29/10. Seems about right, it updated (manually) 2 or 3 times in that period after a long period of "no updates available".
Thanks for the responses. From the topic on their forum it looks like I'm not the only one with the issue.

That one poster brought up a suspicion of mine after the Avira AntiVir "big" update the other day. Will just have to wait and see.
I've resolved the problem on my end by removing Avira AntiVir and replacing it with Microsoft Security Essentials. Hmm, after installing MSE my computer is now running more smoothly too.
