For users of Spywareblaster a new version has been released today.

It can be downloaded and installed 'over the top' or by uninstalling the old version and installing the new one.

Requirements:

Windows 98, ME, NT4, 2000, XP, Vista, 7. (32 and 64-bit)

Provides Protection for the Following Browsers:

  • Internet Explorer

    and any browsers that use the Internet Explorer engine, including:

    • AOL web browser
    • Avant Browser
    • Slim Browser
    • Maxthon (formerly MyIE2

    [*]Mozilla Firefox

    [*]Netscape

    [*]Seamonkey

    [*]Pale Moon

    [*]K-Meleon

They actually recommend doing a clean install, as seen here:

Yup, downloaded it today. Actually checked updates first time in weeks and it suggested 4.5, good luck. :D

After using Malwarebytes/Super Antispyware/Spybot Search & Destroy etc for so long, I nearly forgot about that one! Thanks for the link. Downloaded... :)
