Spybot Search & Destroy...

Has anyone downloaded the newest version of Spybot? I noticed a few things that seem to happen with my system when I run it.

  • It takes longer to start up
  • It freezes momentarily when I update

I want to know if anyone else who uses Spybot is having the same problem or is it just me? Also, is there any harm in having 2 versions of Spybot (meaning I had an older version and I installed the newer version before I removed the older version)? I had that case before and it never seemed to bother my system, but after this update my system seems to hate Spybot. Even after I removed both versions and reinstalled the newer version it still has the same symptoms above.

About it hanging and loading slow had discussion started here in that other thread, and continues on from there. It's just bugs they'll have to work out.
