Hello,
After some years using and regularly updating Speccy from Piriform,
I just tested this morning last Speccy update (v 1.18.379, French language) on my desktop
Speccy disapeared 5-8 sec after the launch, without any warning.
I only could see the Win Xp and processor identifications, then back to my desk .
After 3-4 trials, I noticed that the Grahics detection ("Graphiques") was warning something like "accès impossible" (impossible access?) in orange font, then Speccy shut again.
I downloaded again and reinstalled my previous version (v 1.17.340) which is still working OK.
Graphics is recognized as: W2240 (1920x1080@60Hz) Intel® HD Graphics
I am running:
Win XP Pro SP3 32 bits (French)
My processor is Intel Core i3 540 @ 3.07GHz (integrated graphics)
motherboard is Gigabyte H55M-UD2H (Socket 1156)
RAM 4 Go DDR3 double channel 9-9-9-24
Is it not possible to gat updated to v 1.18 ?
