Can someone please tell me what this is all about - over in Wilder's Security Forums is a post that says DON'T use the latest version of Speccy - it will "hammer" your disk big time! I just updated it and now I am afraid to use it......
I think somebody is trolling us, or downloaded it from somewhere other than approved sources, speccy is no different in its current form than it has ever been.
At 10:34 there was a post stating
Upon investigation the large file is created when the /debug mode is on
and the log file became a few hundred MB whilst monitoring a large number of drives overnight.
