Speccy keeps showing two instances of my dual core processor instead of just the total number in one instance.

If you could, press CTRL + ALT + DEL simultaneously to bring up the task manager.

Take a screenshot of the performance tab window & upload it here, along with a screenshot of how it displays in Speccy.

If you press ALT + Print Screen key, you should be able to tab a screeny of only the active window.

The reason this is requested, is the performance tab will show the number of cores on your system, so it will be interesting to see how it displays in Windows as opposed to Speccy. Might give additional info to troubleshoot the problem.
