I never heard of this app/beta before, it appears to be a....I don't know. It seems community involved (like WOT). I'm just not sure how safe an app like this would be. Any of you familiar with this thing?
I installed it and yep it's a boot manager. You can pause or delay bootable items or just leave them be. I delayed one item. I have Carbonite and only occasionally run it, so no need for it to start at boot. Saves me 17 seconds.
I had it before I reinstalled my Windows. At first I was amazed and all but after a few reboots I don't think it helped too much, plus it has some sort of animation every time Windows is loading where it calculates the time taken to boot. I didn't like that.
I prefer having almost nothing at start up, no delays, nothing.
Thanks guys for providing the info and screenshots about this.
I guess we will wait and see now.
I'm a tiny bit wary of boot managers as sometimes delaying or stopping one item can have unexpected effects. But still, it's nice to see new apps and the user interface looks user friendly and easy to understand (so many just talk in tech language which puts people off)
