I think that a very useful software can be a hard drives monitor. do you jnow acronis drive monitor? very useful: it moniros s.m.a.r.t.and windows events, it sends mail if something wrong, and so on... but it is not updated, not recognizes all drives, and not has a network edition whre I can view status of all drives of my pc's/servers. so I think that a Piriform Drive Monitor will have very success !
