I switched from XP Pro to Vista Ult and notice many software i use are not supported. Any recommendation? I'm using sp1 64bit.

Yes go back to Win98SE. :D

M$ can't even install a file that will read the older *.hlp files unless you download the update. They had installed Winhlp32.exe on every version of Windows they have made apart from Vista. ;)

I am looking for a firewall and anti-spyware

spybot s and d, spywareblaster, superantispyware........for firewall i am only using windows and a router so i can't help ya with that one.....
