Hello,

I've got a problem with the "Check for Updates" button in CCleaner...

Whenever i'm on a web page or doing a simple little scan or something, when i click that button it

goes to CCleaner.com via whatever IE page i have open. It bothers me sometimes when i'm maybe doing a scan of things and then it goes to ccleaner and I loose all the data.

Could it be possible to make a change when clicking that button will open a new window?

It would probably be a big help to many people...

Also, for the people who are going to come and tell me just to run it later and who are going to criticize

me for saying this and making this suggestion. Please people, its just a suggestion. :rolleyes:

When I click on it, it opens Mozilla Firefox in another tab.

thats actually a good idea.

for me, i use FireFox.

I have it set to open new links in a tab so it doesnt do that to me.

this should be a simple little fix for MrG that i hope he adds into an update :D

Yeah maybe an update to CCleaner, however I'm wondering if the new IE7 when it soon becomes final will automatically open another tab instead of stealing the page that needs to stay the same.
