Slow Clean after Loading IE8

CCleaner for Windows

Since loading IE8 CCleaner is slow to clean and stalls for a good 30secs or so with the following message

Internet Explorer

History

C:Documents and Settings\....\Local Settings\History\History.IE5\MSHist012009090920090910\index.dat

Any ideas how to stop it and speed things up again?

v2.23.999 - XP SP2

I have the same problem. I see no solution.

Upgraded to v2.24.1010 and still have same issue??
