I website that I use on a daily basis, that requires a log-in, is giving me problems after ccleaner.
after ccleaner, this website no longer remembers my log in information, which is fine, because I am able to access the site after inputting my information. However, if I go to a different site and come back to it, (even 30 seconds later) it has forgotten my information and views my as though it is a first time visit.
Dennis, by "this website" I think he refers to "(A) website that I use on a daily basis, that requires a log-in, is giving me problems after ccleaner." not the piriform site (though that said your advice doesn't change).
the website is swagbucks.com and it is ONLY this site. I didn't want to post it originally for fear of spamming.... anyway I have no log-in issues with any other sites.
Although I couldn't find any straightforward flash cookie being deposited besides the text cookie, if you haven't already done so, try temporarily unchecking "Adobe Flash Player" in "Settings\Multimedia", and see if that fixes the problem.
If it does, it might give us an idea as to what to look for.

Hi Dennis, under settings, there seems to be no option for checking or unchecking. I've attached a pic for reference.
I think what DennisD is suggesting is to click on the little broom in the left panel, then on the applications tab, then under multimedia, uncheck adobe flash player. If that's wrong he will tell us. Open the picture in a new tab for a bigger view.
ok, I did just as instructed by login123 and still nothing. Maybe it's about time I uninstall google chrome and try for a re-install?? what do you guys think?
Perhaps make a new Chrome profile for testing if it allows you to do that and I don't know if it does, that way you'd instantly know if it's a profile corruption or something in Chrome itself.
