Sleep / Hibernate during Drive Wiper

Will it stuff things up (eg. risk of data loss) if I attempt to Sleep or Hibernate my Windows 7 or Windows XP PC while running Drive Wiper to wipe free space?

A wipe can take many hours, and I'm wondering if CCleaner will successfully/automatically resume from where it left off, when I resume from Sleep or Hibernation?

I wouldn't attempt it but have no conclusive evidence that it wouldn't work

I believe it works just fine, but if it were me, I would feel far better allowing it to finish before putting it into a state of suspension.

Thank you both. I think I shall not risk it then "just in case".
