For the second time in about 15 months, Ccleaner Pro has stopped working, they say, due to security updates by Google. The app crawls through (over 15 minutes to do nothing) the cleanup but doesn’t actually clean cache anymore. I’ve contacted the developer who said they were aware and working on a fix, over a month ago, but it’s still not fixed. They asked for help in resolving this by sending error logs, which I did on a couple occasions, but I requested a refund of my annual subscription when they stopped responding to my emails even though I continued to reach out. At that point, I requested a refund and was told it would be processed within a few hours, then was told they couldn’t issue a refund because it was a Google Play purchase. Google Play has also refused to refund my subscription, stating a broken app and unresponsive developers were not justification for a refund.
Anyone else having problems with Ccleaner Pro? Any ideas on how to get my money back? Are there any good cache cleaner apps out there?
