Silent installation switches do not work

I have tried the "/s" silent install switches with both the standard and slim installers for both ccleaner and defraggler, neither of which work. Even trying /lang=1033 doesn't bypass the initial language prompt. I thought the installer was compiled with Inno, so I tried it's standard setup switches /silent, /verysilent, /sp- and even the /log to see if that will create a log (it didn't)... I've also tried some common ones for other setup packages like /q, /quiet, /passive, etc. all to no avail.

So what gives with /s?

Would it be ok to repackage the portable versions of these apps with my own installer that I can run silently for automation purposes? Is there anything I should concern myself with by using this method?

Thx.

I'm going to say no you can't. why so want the /s install?

So what gives with /s?

Anyone?

Anyone?

Nick,

*Note* that this switch is case sensitive and /s is not the same as /S. Please try /S

Hope that helps.
