This is to let you know that updating to CCleaner 7 Professional is not a success for me.
I am running this program in a Windows 11 25H2 environment.
The issues I have are:
Already after program cold start-up: Health Check is running indefinitely ‘CCleaner is still busy with something else’. Restarting the laptop does not help.
Already after program cold start-up: Startup Manager gives an error message ‘Something went wrong. An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later’. Restarting the laptop does not help.
Closing the program completely (using the Task Manager) and restarting leads to disappearance of all but two menu items (Health Check and Custom Clean, Performance Optimizer up to Startup Manager are gone). The program seems to be corrupted.
The menu ‘Restore Points’ has disappeared in CCleaner 7.
I liked the separate Registry Cleaning button in the older versions (now under Custom Clean).
I absolutely hate the new look. Less information on a screen compared to previous versions. It looks too ‘fluffy’.
The program feels ‘instable/fragile’.
Re-installing CCleaner 6.19 caused my computer to crash completely. It took me one day to restore from system backup. Horrendous.
I have a Professional membership and still it is impossible to have a question answered by e-mail. Former operational support e-mail addresses (such as support@ccleaner.com have all been disabled). Trying to get contact via the website is leading me into the woods. Awful.
Needless to say, I will not extend my Professional license once expired.

All customers MUST now access a ‘Live Chat’ support service.
To start raise a support ticket by using this: Contact Form.
Once you submit the form you will be given a support ticket/ID number onscreen, with a summary of your request. Below that is the button to go straight into the ‘Live Chat’ where a virtual assistant will try to help you.
If the AI can’t help then you will be passed to a real person.
Note - We have been told that you MUST engage with the chat or you may not get a reply to your request form.
Note2 - It appears that the system is currently overloaded. Users are reporting very long waits for the Live Chat to respond.
While trying to uninstall CCleaner 7 (stopping both its processes still running in the background), my desktop shortcuts did not work anymore. I had to reinstall my computer using a Restore Point (including the registry) which took me hours. What a ****-up this is CCleaner 7! Do not buy!
PS: Reasons for uninstalling have been addressed in a separate topic. Added to that: Several menus CCleaner 7 menus do not work. There is no dedicated support available. Stay away from CCleaner 7!
