After setting everything up, and clicking install, the thing simply closes itself with no messages...
Where do I start debugging ?
Need more info such as operating system which build of ccleaner (slim, full etc)
What settings are you applying?
Is one of them minimize to system tray?
Win7 sp1 x64. All updates.
And I did re-download the installer more than once.
The installer has 6.3 MB, Ver. 5.08
No matter what I set up, it doesn't install. Even ran as administrator.
I may or may not unmark "Run CCleaner to recycle bin context menu"
I may or may not unmark "Install Chrome browser"
I may or may not mark advanced options, like "install just for me"
I may or not change the installation path...
None of these make a difference
I did not find anything similar to “minimize to tray”
What antimalware product do you use? At what point during the setup does this occur?

Last week I've downloaded from pirinform. Now I've downloaded from your link. It was the same installer. Same version, same link... I'm perplex.
It use to crash as soon as I click the install button, after unmarking chrome.
No anti malware installed. Antiviruses are useless. And even if it was the case, I would be happy to discover EXACTLY what caused this.
I don't like to say "problem solved", as it wasn't resolved by us, but I'm using CCleaner right now.

I know it is your machine, your rules, but please re-consider having some security software installed on your machine.
They are far from useless I can assure you.
