Selling on Laptop and was just wondering whether Drive Wiper will do a good job on completely wiping my Laptop?

If you want the Windows operating system to remain intact without you having to reinstall it instead you'd use Wipe Free Space. You can then see the results using Recuva.
Drive Wiper on the system drive where Windows is installed will only start a Wipe Free Space.
Now if you want to nuke everything on the system drive with no possibility of recovery you'd need to run CCleaner Portable from a boot disk such as Bart PE, etc., or just create a DBAN bootable disk. DBAN is probably the easiest choice, although I don't know if it also kills off Windows recovery partitions that allow you to reinstall Windows, so tread lightly if you use it.
Note: Nuking a disk means you'll have to have a Windows install CD/DVD to reinstall Windows!!!
