Secure Deletion

It says "Secure Deletion" will only work on files that have not already been unsecurely deleted by windows. But if I use "Wipe Free Space" and "Clean MFT Free Space", won't that securely delete files already unsecurely deleted? Sorry, I'm a non-techie. Thanks for any help/feedback.

Also, if I "Wipe Free Space" and "Clean MFT Free Space", do I risk damaging any files on my computer?

Again, many thanks.

Wipe Free Space will get rid of files that were deleted normally through Windows or even through CCleaner without secure deletion enabled.

Wipe Free Space doesn't touch your files so it's safe. Do note that the way it works there's a side-effect in which Windows can, may, or will lose all System Restore Points. Whenever I use it I turn System Restore off, and disable my antivirus.

Note that using Wipe Free Space only needs to be done if your selling off your computer, using it too much can wear out your hard disk.
