Searched for help, now I'll ask

I am using the current version of Firefox which is 3.0.4

Since I cannot access my firefox and I not sure how and what information to provide you. Are you referring to add-ons? If so I believe that I had Ad-Block on there, and then a download bar add-on.

Thanks for the information.

What some of the Firefox users may also need to know is this. In CCleaner Cleaner > Applications tab What are your settings for cleaning Firefox?

Did you set your "cookies to save" at Options > Cookies. You may have to sign in or go to those websites again to get those "cookies" back on your computer.

See this link also about "flash cookies". I would advise turning off the option at Cleaner > Applications tab > Multimedia > Adobe Flash Player also until you learn and understand these "flash cookies". This may be causing most of your problems.

Davey,

Under the Firefox tab the boxes are all checked except for saved form information

So, do you think that the reason that my firefox will not load at all is because of cookies. When I say not load, I mean that the firefox window does not even pop up

I also have realized that one of my work software programs is not working again and appears to have been "cleaned" so-to-say.

I will visit the website provided

Have you tried to get advice on this Firefox problem at their forum.?

Because of the various System Restores and Registry issues fixing, I would recommend reinstalling Firefox 3.0.4 . I would also recommend just leaving the Registry alone.

What is this work software that you are referring to?

What appears to have been cleaned ?

The work software I am using is called Itemtracker and it is used to keep track of inventory, and it seems like the database and the license code for the software has been erased because now everytime I log on it says that I do not have the license code.

Anyway, I will try to reinstall firefox, but I know I have already done that twice. I will try and post something on Firefox's forum about this, but I am sure the problem resides with the registry cleaning from CCleaner.

Hello,

Please remember the Registry Issues feature is not a "cleaner" or "fixer". It looks for and reports issues based on the users options. It does not "Fix issues" unless the user says to fix them. Some software products create these "issues" and they should not be "fixed". This is under the control of the user. My recommendation to most users is to leave the Registry alone.

Itemtracker program may be storing important information either in a temporary file, in the registry, in a "cookie", or even possibly in an Adobe/Macromedia "Flash Cookie". You need to find out where this information is being stored. Corrective actions can then be taken .CCleaner does not delete data unless told to do so.

Thankfully the Itemtracker software is fixed by contacting their support team, but firefox still does not work.
