Script Error

Anyone know how to get rid of the annoying Internet Explorer script error message when various web sites are visited?

I could change my browser to Firefox but I don't find it as user friendly.

Tweak these three boxes like so . . . debug_script.png

Bucky, there is a skin for Firefox that makes it look like IE.

You could download the IE skin for Firefox, then you would have the security & stability of Firefox, without the errors or possibility for active-X drive by installs.

This would make Firefox more user friendly, I believe... BlueSky is an example of a skin, but you may want to search for updated variants that work for later Firefox versions. The BlueSky variant is IE 8 theme, while they also have a skin out for IE 6 if you like that better.

Thanks, I had already done that, I should have mentioned it. There are all kinds of solutions on the internet but none have solved the problem.

Which version of IE are you using IE8 or IE9?

Also which operating system and service pack.?

i would help to see an image of the script error (just incase it's not the one we all think it is)

. . . none have solved the problem.

My remaining fix is to disable active scripting . . Script_disable.jpg . . or reinstall IE. :P If twice you fail, use the hammer.

Perhaps have a malware removal expert look at scanning logs, links are in this topic.

Reason I suggest this is because malware and some IE add-ons can really cause it to have issues.

I re-installed IE 8.....problem solved. Thanks for all your help :)
