Scan hangs at 47% at stage 1

Hey guys. My SD card went haywire and I had to reformat and then use Recuva to recover all my files. Since reformat 'deletes' the files, I needed to do a deep scan, which it's doing right now. To start with, it was pretty quick in scanning, getting up to 47% where it seems to just hang there.

Current progress: 47%, 108 Files(s) found.

I just downloaded Recuva about half an hour ago so it's all up to date. My SD card is also 2GB.

Is there anything I can do? Really would like these files back :)

I can deep scan an 8gb card in, I dunno, five mins or so. I would give it a little longer than half an hour. I guess it's some variant of FAT32. I would post back if there's no improvement after an hour or so.
