Scan for non-deleted files - from re-formatted RAW drive

I recently had a drive go RAW. I re-formatted with the intention of running Recuva Pro to retrieve (most importantly) image files - many Nikon and Canon Raw.

After a lengthy wait, files had been located and I directed to recover to another drive.

Folder structures where ignored and Nikon + Canon raw files did not load to the selected drive.

However, jepg and tiff files were successfully recovered.

I then discovered (web searches) to select 'Scan for non-deleted files' in the case of a reformattetd drive, BUT I CANNOT FIND THE OPTION anywhere ???

i really would dearly like to get my Nikon and Canon 'raw' digital images back.

Any suggestion welcome :-)

Is this any help?

I have read over all the pages, thanks

  1. Start Recuva. Enter Advanced mode if the Wizard launches.
  2. Click Options.
  3. In the Options dialog box, click the Actions tab.
  4. Click Scan for non-deleted files, and then click OK. - THIS IS MISSING IN 'ACTIONS' tab

I have checked for updates and have latest update

Now running another scan with DSC in 'look for' field

Ran another scan, files found are all 'excellent'. Selected for recovery but that failed, error message

"The system cannot find the path specified"

OK, have got the "scan for non-deleted files".

Attempting new scan.
