I would like to run a batch file before and after a scheduled defrag to shutdown and then restart the SQL Server services on a server. I don't see any options to do this. Is it possible to call external programs?

Currently there is no way to do this within Defraggler, but it makes for a good suggestion. The devs may not respond to this thread but they do read all suggestions..
