Trying to clean edge browser only. Below are my selections
First, I ran a scan (right click edge browser choose scan), and it shows items in the ignored selections (Saved passwords, metric files)
Then I ran a clean (right click edge browser choose clean) and indeed it removed the metric temps and saved passwords.
I don’t save my passwords in my browser, but many do, and if they were just trying to do browser clean whilst there is no smart monitoring, they’d lose their passwords/Minds

Thanks for reporting this. I am only able to replicate it if I do the right clean scan first.
If I do a normal scan then a right click clean it cleans correctly.
I have reported this to the development team.

@Laurence_CCleaner this has gotten worse, now the background scanner (the one that pre scans whatever it’s called) is ignoring choices in custom clean

I am not able to replicate this on my side.
I went to Custom Clean and unchecked the relevant option and clicked Scan now.
If the process you followed to experience the issue is anything different, please let me know so I can follow your process.
Don’t click scan now! right click on edge and choose scan it will scan items not checked off

It doesn’t matter what’s checked off, a right click clean will clean all items in the catagory. But as far as applications i have NONE checked off and prescan (and right click scan) ignores that and scans/cleans all
