Reverting back to last version 6.xx of CCleaner

I have the 3 year pro license for 3 Windows machines, I’d like to revert back from version 7 to the last version 6 for a while. I don’t have the time right now to mess with version 7 as it’s, in my opinion, not ready for my uses.

Where can I go to download the version 6.xx. I suppose I need to turn off updates for a while as well.

Thank you. After running the 6.39 installer, I think I will disconnect from the Internet for a bit so that I can disable updates with a few more seconds of grace. I’d like to run version 7 as a side app so that I can participate in (like assist) with ideas and possible improvements. Is that possible or practical?

I run paid versions of CC on two Windows laptops, and one CAD workstation, and two Samsung S25s. In my shop, that computer will not support Win11, so it’s being migrated to Debian Linux next week. I also run a free version of CC on laptop that is dedicated to programming motorsports fuel injection - it will stay on Win 10 forever if possible, but I’m in the process of eliminating most all Internet capabilities there. I follow reddit/firefox and reddit/thunderbird where I have posted privacy workarounds leveraging CCleaner in the past. CCleaner’s work supporting Firefox is appreciated. I also use RAM disk some. In a nutshell, I am interested in possibly an “advanced” toggle with minimal splash screens, information dense presentations, minimal clicks, and probably a script builder to configure automatons. Version 7 appears to be a time to advocate for these. Thanks for listening!

Yes, I have both on a Win 10 laptop.
Just do the reinstall of v6.39 without uninstalling v7.

Note that although they are in different folders in C:\Program Files if you have both installed then you may see them sharing the same settings from the Windows Registry.
(Not sure, Haven’t looked into it that deeply).
