A presentation at the Hack In The Box security summit in Amsterdam has demonstrated that it's possible to take control of aircraft flight systems and communications using an Android smartphone and some specialized attack code

This is a backup pilot, and they make a small box that is ready to take over. It basically flies the plane right to the runway. I would guess you have to operate the brakes and other controls. But still.. How cool!

As luck would have it the iPad battery would probably be low. :P
