you should follow all of them. But in this case right click the entry in the analysis and choose exclude, then ccleaner will not bother you with it anymore
do NOT delete all entries ccleaner (or any reg "fixer") lists only the ones you know, if it keeps showing up right click and exclude the entry from scanning
I updated to v4.01.4093 (25 Apr 2013) and removed ActiveX/COM Issue||InProcServer32\%CommonProgramFiles%\System\Ole DB\msdaora.dll || HKCR\CLSID\{e8cc4cbe-fdff-11d0-b865-00a0c9081c1d}
from the excluded list, then ran Ccleaner many times to see, and the problem disappeared
You have 2 program folders in Windows 8, but the file "msdaora.dll" is missing in C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Ole DB
just copy it there from C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\System\Ole DB.
After this you don't get it up in the registry scanner...
But as "NourinE" say above, maybe an update is enough to do.
The scanner maybe didn't scan the "Program Files (86)" folder, but I have 2 computers, one with Windows 7 and one with Windows 8, the Windows 7 computer never had any problems and the file is missing there also...
So Windows 8 feels still like a Beta version with many small issues...
For me, an update to the version 4.01.4093 and it was enough,
I have just one question, when I removed (ActiveX/COM Issue||InProcServer32\%CommonProgramFiles%\System\Ole DB\msdaora.dll || HKCR\CLSID\{e8cc4cbe-fdff-11d0-b865-00a0c9081c1d}) from the excluded list, does that mean it was completely removed or just from the excluded list?
