Just for a nicer visual appearance, can you reprogram the function to remember the column widths of:
• Drive
• Media Type
• etc...
Well in my case it's just the "Drive" column. Because I adjust it to show the name of all the entries (excluding the System Reserved, because it has a long name anyways) of the first three drives.

you can the column width personally customize with your mouse.

for example:
doubleclick --> optimiced width as in excel
move the cursor to the column line (f. ex. drive and media type), when the icon appears, hold the left mouse button and drag the line to the right, just as you like it
I think the OP is referring to the fact that they aren't remembered between sessions.
