Nobody answered the question if it still was a free program...
From their website: RegSeeker is FREE for personal use only !
Free is exactly what I'm wondering but solely because the included order.doc file would suggest otherwise. I suppose if it goes past the normal for other programs 30 days trial then it probably is still freeware, however it seems like wait and see. In any event I still have 1.45 Beta archived.
Regseeker is donationware. It is free to use but hoverdesk is looking for upkeep costs. Regseeker is still free to use.
Ahh that explains some things, they should just stick a Donate button in the program!

(20oct06) RegSeeker updated to verison 1.52.

I updated exclude.ini again. The update will offer some protection for Windows User Profile Shell Folders, it looked rather concerning when RegSeeker found those on my system. The update is here.

Updated RegSeeker's exclude.ini file yet again. This time I added protection for Microsoft Windows Defender Real-Time Protection feature. Download exclude.zip listed below to get the customized exlude.ini file.
Since I don't like editing previous posts that point to the customized exclude.ini file I started a thread just for RegSeeker's exclude.ini file located in the Lounge here.
