As a new usea of cc cleaner, Can any one tell me how long to keep the backup file from a registry cleanup

or do i delete the old one after each cleanup and keep the new one.

It's entirely up to you.

If you keep them a week or so perhaps so you know any changes you made have no bad effects for your system.

You don't have to delete one to have another as they are kept according to date.
