Stuck at 47% suspect something to do with Chrome

tried reinstalling ccleaner latest version
tried reinstalling google chrome
still had issue after uninstalling google chrome stuck at same place
the screenshot shows a normal CC run, not a registry scan as stated in the title, so I assume the screenshot is the one to go on.
you may have Chrome closed when running CC (if not, do) but are there any background Chrome processes still running?
