registry: remove duplicated entrys in the startup (run)

if I deactivate an entry in my pc's autostart (msconfig) and then install an Update of the same program (for example apple push service)

there will be two identical entrys in msconfig, one activated and one deactivated

is it possible to add a function in ccleaner to check for such duplications and deleting them (should ask the user if the entry should be activated/deactivated)

a question: is it possible to vacuum sqlite databases with ccleaner? (does the checkbox "compact databases" for Firefox/Thunderbird vaccum their databases or is this different feature)

the only program I know right now to do it is speedyfox by crystalidea

it speeds up the start of Firefox, Thunderbird, Chrome and Skype a lot (http://www.crystalidea.com/speedyfox)

are you asking to make it an automated process?

because you can already achieve this by going into Tools, Startup, select the entry you want removed, click on Delete. (or just right click on your entry and use the context menu)

CCleaner's "Compact" is the same as "Vacuum".

sadly this happen with any program that disables startup programs.

are you asking to make it an automated process?

yes, thats exactly my question, because else I could just open msconfig or ccleaner and search manually for duplicates every few weeks, after I have updated lots of programms
