After I scan the registry I save the results. Do I need to save them all the time or can delete them at any time? I have alot of them saved now.
If you are talking about the backup of the registry when you do an 'issues'' clean, then I would just keep them a week or so, or until you realise that a particular clean has caused no problems
So I can delete them without any worries. What are these suppose to be anyway? Sorry just wanting to learn.
Perhaps reading here may help you a bit.

And how to restore a backup (if necessary, although I have never needed to do this)

Remember it is not a requirement of using ccleaner that you 'have' to clean the registry. Some folk quite happily just use the ccleaner bit and don't bother at all about registry side issues
